1. Roles and Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities for Retail Sales Executive (Jewellery Design Consultant):
You will work inside a jewellery store and help customers choose diamond jewellery. In the morning, you help set up the store. You clean the display counters, check that every piece is placed neatly, and count the stock. You also read the day's sales target given by your manager.
During the day, you greet customers with a smile and ask what they are looking for. It may be a ring for an engagement, earrings for a gift, or a daily-wear pendant. You show them the right designs and explain the basics of lab-grown diamonds, such as the 4Cs (cut, colour, clarity and carat weight). You also explain the company's Sparkle Plan (FSP) when it suits the customer. A senior staff member will guide you in the beginning.
After a sale, you help with billing papers and take customer orders. You note down customer details and call them later to ask if they are happy. If a customer has a complaint, you help solve it or pass it to the Store Manager. In the evening, you put jewellery back in the locker, count stock again, and help restock. You also join training sessions to learn more about products and selling.
